Happy Valentines Wreath!

Here is a quick Valentine's craft that you can knock out in less then an hour and for less than $20.
A grapevine wreath with a few flowers in red, pink and white hues - The perfect understated Valentine's Decor!
I got the wreath and flowers for $16 at Michael's.  This week they are running a promotion for 40% off all floral stems and there is a coupon on line for 40% off any one regular price item, click here for coupon. Hooray, everything for 40%, love it!
So gather your supplies: 5-8 fake flowers (colors of your choosing), 1 grapevine wreath, wire cutters (those floral stems are serious) and a hot glue gun, and cup of Chick-fil-a sweet tea if you are like me and need to wet your whistle:
Remove the leaves from the floral stems (I am reserving mine for a St. Patrick's project coming soon) and cut the stems to about an inch and a half long.  Set the flowers on the wreath just to see how you like them to look.  I liked my pink peony the best so I started with it and then placed the other ones around it.  Once you have an idea of where you want the flowers stick the stems down into the wreath with a little hot glue just to hold them in place.
I could have stopped here with just these, but I wanted a fuller look so I added the rest
Finished project on the door, in the dark, sorry I can't control the sun...

I love how this turned out and I realize I need to paint my wreath hanger black, the gold sort of sticks out a little, but besides that I think its just perfect!  See you too can bring some Valentine's Love to your front door with $20, 45 minutes a few hot glue burns!  Just kidding try not to burn yourself!
Sincerely Loving Food & Crafts,
Lainey

PS- Michael's doesn't know me or that I posted this project using supplies from their store.  I just love them and their 40% off sales...
