For Anything: Peanut Butter and Multi Chocolate Chip Cookies

I choose salty snacks over sweets ninety percent of the time, but yesterday afternoon I was hit with the cookie craving! Luckily I was able to pull together these Peanut Butter and Multi Chocolate Chip Cookies with things on hand, and in less than an hour I had the perfect afternoon snack.

Peanut Butter and Multi Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Stick Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
½ C Peanut Butter (I used creamy but crunchy would work too)
½ C Sugar
½ C Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 ¼ C Flour
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Baking Soda
¼ tsp Salt
½ C Semisweet Chocolate Chips
½ C White Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a medium bowl. Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar with a mixer until fully incorporated, with the mixer running add the egg and allow a few minutes for everything to come together. Add the dry ingredients to the wet in 3 portions, allowing the dry to be incorporated by the wet before adding the next round. Finally add the chocolate chips and mix until dough and chips just come together.  Using a 1 inch melon baller/ice cream scoop or a table spoon, scoop cookies onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Bake cookies for 9 minutes, cool on the sheet for 2 to 3 minutes and then move to wire racks to cool completely or snack on a few while still warm with a glass of milk…
